JV/Varsity Track Sweeps as District Champs!!

An unbelievable regular season came to an exciting conclusion last night in Burnet with the Bronco Varsity team edging out Salado for the District 19-4A Team Championship!  The 148-144 victory proved that every point mattered in the total team effort.  The clinching points were gained as Keshawn Baptiste battled in the last 10 meters of

District Meet Itinerary – April 7th & 8th

The 19-4A District Track Meet will be held in Burnet with Field Events, Prelims, and 3200m Final on Wednesday, April 7th, and Running Finals on Thursday, April 8th. ***UPDATE*** Field Event participants for Wednesday should report at 6:45am on Wednesday to depart by 7:15am.  A bus of Field Event ONLY participants will return to LBHS

Broncos Top in District Tune Up

The Taylor Relays held on Thursday, April 1st, was the final meet before district, and the Broncos had what may have been their best showing of the season. Track Travel Itinerary- 4/1

The Bronco Track and Field teams will compete at Taylor this week on Thursday, 4/1. All athletes need to be released at 11:25am- 11:55am to attend “A” Lunch. Boys Track Battles and JV Stays Undefeated

The Varsity Boys battled windy conditions Thursday morning to secure 78 Team points and take 4th place in the Jarrell Cougar Relays.  Among the participants, PR’s were recorded by Hunter Myers and Chase Moore (Pole Vault), Easton Hammond (Discus), and Challen Ma’ileoi and Caleb Segura (Shot Put). The JV athletes will dismiss from class at 12:20pm (**C-Lunch students on A-days will leave class at 12:20 to eat B-Lunch**) and depart from the school at 1:20pm. At the Salado Relays the Varsity Boys tallied up 194 points to take 2nd place in the Team competition.  13 kids brought home 27 medals for the Broncos. We are excited to be hosting the inaugural Bronco Relays this Saturday, March 6th!  Here are some times to be aware of: All Field Event athletes AND 3200m runners will need to arrive and be ready for warm ups by 8 am. If ONLY in running events, athletes will need to report for warm ups
